📋 Basic Requirements
Application Form
- Computerized South Korea Visa Application Form
- Printed on A4 Size Bond Paper
- Must be originally signed
- Black Ink Signature Only
- All information must be complete and accurate
Passport Photograph
- 1 Piece Passport Size Colored Photograph
- Attach/Paste directly on the application form
- Recent photograph
- Avoid wearing white-colored tops or shirts
- No eyeglasses
- Eyebrows and ears must be visible
- No jewelry
- Teeth should not be visible
Original Passport
- Original Valid Passport
- Must bear applicant’s signature
- Validity must exceed 6 months
- Please remove passport covers
- Passport must be in good condition
Passport Bio Page
- Photocopy of Passport Bio Page
- Page 2 of Passport
- Printed on A4 Size Bond Paper
- Must be clear and readable
Previous Visas & Travel History
- Original and photocopy of valid visas
- Original and photocopy of previous visas
- Arrival stamps from OECD Member Countries
- Travel history covering the last 5 years
- E-Arrival Notification (if applicable)
- E-Travel Pass Confirmation (if applicable)
- Arrival Slips or Immigration Records (if available)
Personal Bank Certificate
- Latest Original Personal Bank Certificate
- Issued within 1–3 months from application date
- Must indicate account name
- Must indicate account number
- Must indicate account type
- Must indicate current balance
- Must indicate account opening date
- Must indicate 6-Month Average Daily Balance (ADB)
Senior Citizen ID / Retiree Documents
- Photocopy of Senior Citizen Identification Card
- Retiree Identification Card (if available)
- Retirement Documents or Pension Documents (if available)
- Documents must be clear and readable
Proof of Relationship
- Required if financial documents belong to another family member
- Original PSA Birth Certificate
- Original PSA Marriage Certificate
- Other supporting relationship documents when applicable
PSA Marriage Certificate
- Original PSA Marriage Certificate
- Required for Married Female Applicants
- Must clearly show current marital status
- Must be readable and free from damage
Cover Letter
A Cover Letter may be required when additional explanation is necessary regarding:

Data Privacy Consent Form
- Accomplished Data Privacy Consent Form

- Must be signed by the applicant
- Required before application processing
📄 Complete Documents Only
Incomplete, insufficient, inconsistent, or unreadable documents may result in refusal of application acceptance and additional delays.
⚠ Previous Korea Visa Denial
Applications with an immediate previous Korea Visa denial are generally not accepted. Please consult TaraVel Adventures before filing.
💰 Sponsored Applicants
Even if another person will sponsor the trip, the applicant must still submit his or her own required personal, financial, and supporting documents.
👨👩👧 Family Applications
For family applications, proof of relationship is mandatory. Original PSA Marriage Certificates and PSA Birth Certificates must be submitted whenever applicable.
📨 Invitation Requirements
👤 If Personally Invited by a Korean Citizen
- Invitation Letter from the Korean inviter
- Must contain at least two (2) active contact numbers in Korea
- Fax numbers are not accepted
- Photocopy of Inviter’s Passport or Korean Identification Card
- Authentication is not required
🏢 If Invited by a Company in Korea
- Official Company Invitation Letter
- Must contain at least two (2) active contact numbers in Korea
- Fax numbers are not accepted
- Photocopy of Korean Company Business Permit
- Authentication is not required
🚫 No Passport Pull-Out Once Filed
Once the application has been submitted to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, the passport cannot be withdrawn or released while the application is under evaluation.
📌 Embassy Assessment & Evaluation
Individual Assessment
Each visa application is evaluated individually by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea based on the applicant’s travel purpose, financial capability, travel history, retirement status, and supporting documents submitted.
Additional Documents
The Embassy may request additional documents, explanations, or supporting evidence whenever deemed necessary during the assessment process.
Verification Process
Financial records, retirement documents, invitation details, travel history, and other supporting documents may be subject to verification by the Embassy.

Submission of complete requirements does not guarantee visa approval. Final approval or denial remains solely at the discretion of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
